Comments: This playground is right on Mission Bay. You can see the water and the bay boardwalk from the playground. Really nice for toddlers because the gates keep the little ones from wandering off the playground area.

Play Equipment: There are two gated play areas. One is for older kids 5-12 and another is for younger kids 2-5. Each have age appropriate climbing structures with slides. Each have swings. The younger area has a playhouse, some rocking animals, and a bench for mommies or daddies.

Grills: No.

Shade: No, and no shade pavilions.
