Comments: This is a well maintained park with an excellent view of downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bridge. Bonus items include a skatepark within visable distance of playground (hours vary, call (619) 522-7342), a beach, and paddle boat/jet ski rentals nearby. There are softball fields and large open areas. A beautiful walking/biking path surrounds the park. Duck ponds are located within reasonable walking distance at the Marriot Hotel.

Play Equipment: Swingset with 4 swings (2 baby, 2 kid swings); one wooden structure with tire swing, sliding poles, and a twisting slide; one plastic structure with 3 slides. Smaller playground items include climbing bars and balance beams. Playground is well suited for older children and is listed for ages 2-12.

Water Fountains: Yes.

Ample Parking: Yes.

Sand: Yes.

Picnic Tables: Yes.

Grills: No.

Shade: Yes, but no shade pavilions.

Field: Yes.
