The cure for cabin fever!

La Mesa - Jackson Park

Comments: Parking lot is small, but ample parking along street. Jackson is busy, so the fence around the play area is great. Can't wait for those bathrooms to be finished!
Play Equipment: Park was re-designed about 1.5 years ago with new equipment and no more sand. The playground area is still completely enclosed with a fence. There are two baby swings, 2 big-kid swings, and a large play area with slides, bridge, etc. Outside of the park is a large, grassy park with some picnic tables scattered throughout. The bathrooms are currently being constructed and in the mean time there are only port-a-potties. They look close, though. I would guess that sometime in Spring 2006 they will be completed.
